GRAPHIC DESIGNER

 

meister.NET is on the hunt for a lead creative designer to work on meaningful projects across many departments within healthcare, pharmaceutical and biotech industries. The hands-on candidate should have a broad range of experience (print, digital, brand identity, web, social media). You will work with our other designers and clients to conceptualize, design and implement assets for various clients and projects ranging from website designs to digital and print advertisements.

 

The ideal candidate must be an exceptional designer, with strong conceptual skills and excellent design acumen. All of our team members work from home—so you must excel autonomous work environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO)

 

  • Designing and maintaining production-ready files for all print and electronic collateral (four-color, web, and many digital mediums)

    • Corporate fact sheets

    • Brochures

    • Annual Reports

    • Advertisements

  • Editing and updating materials generated by other team members (Adobe Creative Suite)

  • Logo design, brand development, and style guide creation

  • Websites:

    • Building wireframes and mockups for new websites

    • Visual content including online banners and ads

    • Help with website maintenance

  • Working with corporate communications, marketing, editorial, and development teams to implement various design projects

Are you passionate about technology and love producing beautiful, clean, and simple designs? Do you take pride in your work, and this is demonstrated by your attention to detail?

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Creative, ambitious, and driven, with uncompromising attention to detail

  • MUSTS:

    • Associate's degree or higher in Graphic Design or a related field with 1-3 years of experience

    • Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign)

      • Current subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud

    • File prep and pre-press experience, including communication with printers and other vendors

    • Have confidence handling multiple projects simultaneously in an autonomous work environment

    • Must also possess exceptional written, editing, verbal, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills

    • Excellent organization skills

    • Microsoft PowerPoint: creating master templates

  • KNOWLEDGE OF (IS A PLUS):

    • CMS platforms such as WordPress, Adobe Muse, Wix, etc. is a plus!

    • Email marketing

    • HTML and CSS

    • Video production and web video

 

CANDIDATES

 

  • Will be required to maintain all their hardware and software

  • Required to enter their hours daily into online tracking systems

  • Will participate in weekly team calls

  • Will work from their home/office or satellite office

  • Must maintain a professional environment for client and team conference calls (no calls from Starbucks!)
