ROBERT J. MEISTER:
Principal, meister.NET
With over 10 years of IT experience, Robert Meister has been creating
Web sites since the early development of the Internet. His first commercial site was launched in 1994. At the time, the project was one of six
Web sites for the legal industry on the Internet.
Formerly Director of Information Systems for VIMRX Pharmaceuticals, Robert was in charge of the company's network and laboratory computers in both the United States and Europe. One of his milestones was networking the analytical equipment in the company's New York genetics laboratory so the scientists and lab technicians in Europe could access the raw data for analysis. He also designed and launched the company's first commercial web site in 1996 with the corporate intranet following in 1997.
Prior to VIMRX, Robert attended Oklahoma State University. While in school, he worked as Systems Administrator and Legal Exhibits Expert at one of the nation's top medical malpractice firms. Robert prepared legal exhibits for jury trials as well as wiring Federal and State courtrooms with computer equipment and monitors
for use during trial. His work on malpractice cases gave him a strong background in medical and pharmaceutical terminologies.
Presently, Robert is principal at meister.NET. Founded in 1999, meister.NET is a communication tools company that develops Internet sites, intranets and multimedia presentations for the healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and legal industries. One of Robert's projects, StemCellSelection.com, won the OC2000 award for best Education/Training Site on the Internet. Robert also serves as Internet counsel for several scientific and legal organizations. Robert's portfolio includes
over 18 commercial sites, 2 corporate intranets and over 29 multimedia presentations.
Robert is a member of the
